The workshops started in 2004 by professional
animator Mark Charlton as a way to share a passion for the
moving image and to assist in creative learning.

The Animation Workshop has been involved in many
highly creative and successful projects since the start
and has given hundreds of young people a unique artistic
experience.

Animation is a dynamic medium to communicate and
express ideas. The Animation Workshop brings all the tools to you and takes you on a voyage of discovery exploring
the fascinating process of animation from cartoon fun to
experimental art forms using traditional devices alongside
modern ICT equipment.

initial story board form through to the creation of all
art work ready for filming.
